Clean Tech Company Extreme Energy Solutions’ Smart Emissions Reducer Now Ready For Mass Market Adoption

“The Smart Emissions Reducer is field tested and laboratory approved for saving money and the environment,” is the message sent by the clean technology company Extreme Energy Solutions (EES), provider of the Smart Emissions Reducer (SER). Extreme Energy Solutions Inc., has spent several years investing in focused, quality research, development, and fine tuning of this device for the purposes of one day finding itself under the hood of most vehicles. The company believes that the Smart Emissions Reducer will become a standard component for most new makes and models of vehicles manufactured and sold around the world. In the last five years, the Smart Emissions Reducer, under the stewardship of Extreme Energy Solutions had been introduced domestically while also making landfall in Canada, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, China, and Italy. It is there, where a number of these devices have been tested, sold, and considered by government, commercial fleet operators, as well as engine and vehicle manufacturers, in their quest to play their part in lowering harmful toxic vehicle emissions while maximizing the efficiency of their vehicles.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has been put through a battery of testing in the last half a decade which included a regiment of testing by Roush Industries, in Lavonia, Michigan. The purposes of these tests were to baseline a vehicle’s emissions and fuel economy numbers without the device applied to the vehicle, then again to trial the vehicle with the device under controlled laboratory conditions. Two sets of vehicles in 2012, 2015, 2016 were sent to the laboratory, all demonstrating consistent results, which showed the device had a positive effect on lowering the vehicles emissions; even up to a 65% reduction in emissions. Fuel efficiency numbers were also compared, with testing revealing up to a 7.5% increase in fuel efficiency on specific year and make models.

The Changzhou Keshi Group tested the Smart Emissions Reducer in their lab, located in Jiangsu Providence of China. Extensive testing protocols were practiced in testing the device. Keshi tested the device on Cummings diesel engines that were modified for use by the vehicle manufacturer that specializes in mining equipment and vehicles. Their results demonstrated the Smart Emissions Reducer performed well, with up to 25% reduction in certain emissions and up to 2.5% increase in fuel efficiency.

In addition to Roush and Keshi, the Smart Emissions Reducer was tested by Free-Col Labs, via a mass spectrometer test. This particular test verifies the before and after effects of the pollutants and chemical make-up of emissions gases as they entered and exited the device. The tests were very revealing in providing information that the Smart Emissions Reducer has an effect on blow-by exhaust gases.

The Smart Emissions Reducer has seen a number of real-time pilot program trials and testing in the field. Devices were installed on a number of vehicles, and monitored over a period of 30-60-90 day intervals. Emissions results were recorded as business and municipal fleets would provide the very first series of field trials of the device.

The first municipal fleet trial was ran in Andover Township, New Jersey. The next municipality to try the Smart Emissions Reducer was Winnebago County in Illinois, followed by the City of Rockford (IL), Douglas County (OR), and the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PA). These vehicle fleets saw results between a 25% to 75% reduction in emissions as well as fuel efficiency gains; in some cases, up to 12% and 15%. Some of these municipalities opted to purchase the devices used during the pilot program and thereafter.

Commercial business fleets to pilot the device included Utz Quality Foods, that implemented a plan to retrofit select vehicles throughout their northeast locations. The New York City Taxi and Limo Commission reviewed the device as well, and made it permissible for vehicles under their rulemaking to be retrofitted with the green technology device. Taxi fleets in California also tested the device with much success.

The device was also tested on the 602 GM Crate Engine, commonly founded throughout the Northeast dirt track racing circuit. Crate Motor Connection had provided the dyno and tested the engine retrofitted with the device, reporting back that they monitored no adverse findings and with a slight increase in efficiency noticed.

With these successes on the books, Extreme Energy Solutions decided it was changing its business model, making the device available to vehicle manufacturers. The choice came in 2014/2015 when the final test results were collected from pilot programs in Jordan that solidified the verdict of the Smart Emissions Reducer’s worthiness. Since then, Extreme Energy Solutions has visited with a number of potential clients/vehicle manufactures headquartered in the United States as well as various other countries including China and Italy.

“It was with the end game in mind, that we began our grass roots campaign to commercialize the Smart Emissions Reducer,” commented Samuel K. Even though the company has begun to limit testing on smaller scale projects, Extreme Energy Solutions is still concentrating resources on its flagship product as Burlum continued to explain, “We shifted a part of our focus away from localized projects and decided to begin setting the stage to address vehicle and engine manufacturers. This means the switch of focus takes your device and company out of the local limelight and put back behind the scenes until engine/vehicle manufacturers are ready to announce their intent to make the move to adopting the device.”

The company has a number of LOI’s from vehicle/engine manufactures where talks are still ongoing. Burlum was noted in saying that Extreme Energy Solutions would still entertain a local/regional Smart Emissions Reducer pilot project with a municipality or commercial fleet if the terms and conditions were not in conflict with the company’s current direction. The Company has projects slated in Jordan and South Africa to continue testing the Smart Emissions Reducer in the field on both commercial and government owned vehicles.

Extreme Energy Solutions’ 2016 Extreme Kleaner Tour of Stores Under Way

The Extreme Energy Solutions Extreme Kleaner Sales and Promotions Team have been racking up thousands of drive miles throughout the Mid-West. The 2016 Extreme Kleaner Tour of Stores is well underway. Extreme Kleaner representatives are making stops in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Illinois before making brief appearances in Oregon and then heading back to the East Coast. In total, almost 50 stores in over ten states will get a personal visit from the Extreme Kleaner team.

Extreme Energy Solutions, New Jersey Green Tech Company, Named 2015 Company of the Year by Passaic Valley FOP #181

Extreme Energy Solutions recently was honored with an acknowledgement and official proclamation recognizing the company as Passaic County’s 2015 Company of the Year in the professional area of Environmentally Friendly Energy Products. The award was given by the Passaic Valley Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 181, and was signed and presented by Lieutenant Joseph Sferruzza, president of the FOP Lodge.

Officer Joe Klein (Retired) who assist the FOP lodge and assist PBA 152, presented the awards to the Company.

2015 World Green Energy Symposium Unites Policy Makers And Industry Leaders In Order To Address Global Economic And Environmental Concerns

The 2015 World Green Energy Symposium held in Washington DC at the University of District of Columbia on Thursday, March 12 was the place to be for discovering cutting-edge green technology, sustainability programs and innovative environmental policy. Many powerful presentations and workshops were held to discuss energy, green technology, environmental policy and economic sustainability.

The event offered expertise from many market segments. From government to industry schools of thought and students, to community activists, answers to solve some of today’s most pressing concerns came from every corner of the gathering. The event also recognized current and former WGES Nova Award Honorees, who answered the call of bringing public policy and technology together to solve environmental and economic challenges.

“We want to thank you all for coming today in attending this year’s WGES,” said Professor Robert Gallagher, Executive Chair of the World Green Energy Symposium as he welcomed all guests to the well-attended event, “You will find opportunities galore from industry to government, from schools of thought to community activist, you will not be disappointed by the options of answers you can gather from today’s offerings.”

Four-time Emmy Winner, former Broadcast Journalist Jan Fox was the event’s emcee and opened the event at 9:00 am introducing special guest and speakers to the podium.

Professor Gallagher first recognized all of the past World Green Energy Symposium NOVA Award Honorees for their contributions to advancements in solving problems associated with environmental and energy issues. Then Gallagher took a moment to recognize this, year’s recipient, Dr. Sabine O’Hara, Dean of College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences (CAUSE) of the University of DC.

“We are honored to add another member to class of NOVA Award Winners. The Current Class includes the City of Washington DC, City of Philadelphia, Drexel University, Dow Chemical, and Extreme Energy Solutions, among others who have demonstrated making steps and development of policies and technologies that lead us to protecting our environment and natural resources, while providing sustainable choices,”

“We are honored to present Dr. Sabine O’Hare and CAUSE with this year’s NOVA Award for their efforts in becoming a sustainable land grant site, being totally sustainable, including their construction of this campus,” Gallagher professed.

“We are honored to accept this award. This is not just my award, but a reflection of all of our staff, students, board, alumni, suppliers, and the rest of the individuals who supported our vision for our school,” Dr. O’Hare added, “The city supported our goals, which provided us the opportunity to be the only 100% sustainable University in the District.”

Tribute was paid in accommodations by a number of special guests who included Mr. James Lyons, President of University of DC, who welcomed attendees to the campus and to the event. He was followed by Margaret Singleton, Vice President of DC Chamber of Commerce; Tommy Wells, Acting Director, District Department of the Environment, Government of the District of Columbia; and then Dr. O’Hare wrapped up the morning session showcasing the series of steps CAUSE took to develop their sustainable campus.

The mid-day panel represented opportunities within federal government and presented case studies; steps and initiatives that government has taken to become even more-green, thus saving taxpayer money in the meantime. Panel was led by Mr. Kevin Kampschroer, from GSA who shared the agency’s green building practices; which including the usage of energy efficiency tech, LEED construction practices, and maximizing space.

Ms. Kristine Kingery presented what the Army is doing to become more environmentally friendly in managing its assets and bases around the world. Ms. Jo Anne Hill, with the US Department of Commerce, provided a discussion referencing contract opportunities available for Minority Owned Business Enterprises in the area of sustainability and environmental initiatives by the federal government. The session was concluded by Mr. Landon Van Dyke, from the Department of State, who shared the vision and ongoing practices by the Department of State in greening US Embassies around the world.

The afternoon full of workshops; discussions and question and answer sessions from a number of interests: new technology, transportation solutions, the use of big data to monitor energy usage and energy conservation, understanding public private partnerships were just part of the plethora of sessions one could choose from.

Two of the workshops that stood out were the discussion lead by Samuel K. Burlum, CEO of Extreme Energy Solutions, who presented a case study and examples about here and now available technology that could lower harmful toxic emissions from vehicles, including advancements made in this technology sector, and the importance of embracing the retrofit technology market. Another well attended workshop provided insight on deploying sustainable technology to the continent of Africa. Panel, moderated by Ron Uba, Department of Commerce-MBDA; led by Mr. Ken Johnson, provided information referencing emerging economies within developing nations. Mr. Johnson discussed examples of countries within Africa who were struggling to meet the demands of water, energy, power, food supply, and alternatives currently being investigated to meet these needs.

Attendees were excited and optimistic as the evening came to a close, all leaving with valuable information and contacts from the historic event.

“There is still much work to be done in this field of practice,” Burlum contributed, “the areas of environmental protection, green technology, alternative energy, sustainability, and policy making that drives the markets to evolve are still very much in their infancy. If you compare this industry to the early days of the .com boom or the early days of the information age, you can see the ‘green industry’ is following those same trends,”

“There are other drivers to the movement of environmental sustainability, which I believe one of them is generational. There are far more X, Y, and Millennial generation individuals who were cultured with a sense of environmental regard for the planet than the previous generations.”

“These generations who grew up with recycling in the classroom; earth day celebrations; they were the generations who have embraced most of the green technology we have today; so it is no surprise that we are seeing large growth in this area.”

“As they exercise their purchasing power, and combine that with their life style habits, you get a demanding market segment who wants more organic and green choices. It’s a trend companies like ours welcome in the near future,” mentioned Burlum.
